Headquartered in the high-tech city of Singapore, which is very supportive of crypto-currency and blockchain technologies, NextID is one of the leaders in certificate issuance. The company was started by 10 technologists, all of whom had blockchain experience from previous endeavors.
The company is led by William Claxton, an American innovator and developer with a long history in digital media. Mr Claxton has worked as operations director for a number of blockchain companies before starting NextID.
