Privacy Policy

At nextid.com and all related sites operated by NextID Pte Ltd (“Our Sites”), the privacy of our visitors is highly important to us. This privacy policy document outlines the types of personal information received and collected by nextid.com and how it is used.
What Personal Information do we collect?
The information we gather falls into two categories: 1) Personally identifiable information, which includes personal information you voluntarily supply when you subscribe, order, complete a survey, register for an online event, produce a digital certificate or provide your email address and 2) Non-personally identifiable information, which includes tracking information collected as you navigate through our sites. We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) about you unless you choose to provide that information to us.
How do we use Personal Information?
We need to collect personal information so that we can provide you with the documents, certificates or services you have requested, or so that we can carry out specific statutory functions (or both). The particular purpose for which we collect personal information will either be explained when we collect that information, or will be obvious from the context in which it is collected.
Compliance
Our Sites maintain compliance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”) and European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
As a company, we endeavour to adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on nextid.com. Customer passwords are not known to us and are encrypted in our systems.
Data Security
We will always take reasonable steps to ensure that all information we collect, use or disclose on Our Sites is accurate, complete, up-to-date and stored in a secure environment accessed only by authorised persons. However, we give no warranty against third parties hacking into the data or any unauthorised access to the data by anyone.
Log Files
Like many other Web sites, Our Sites make use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyse trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
Cookies
Websites can automatically place small text files, known as “cookies,” on their visitors’ computers. Cookies identify the unique browser used by the visitor unless you delete them or they expire. On each subsequent visit to the website, the visitor’s browser will retrieve the cookie, allowing Our Sites to aggregate the number of return visitors. Our Sites use “cookies” to test and optimise our websites’ design and content. We use two types of cookies on Our Sites:
  • We use session cookies to gather data for technical purposes, such as improving navigation through our website and generating statistics about how the website is used. Session cookies are temporary text files that expire when you leave our website. Cookies delete automatically from your computer as soon as they expire. We do not use session cookies to collect personally identifiable information (PII), and we do not share data collected from session cookies.
  • We use multi-session cookies, or persistent cookies, to customise Our Sites for frequent visitors and to test variations of website design and content. Multi-session cookies are cookies that are stored over more than a single session on your computer. We do not use multi-session cookies to collect personally identifiable information (PII), and we do not share data collected from multi-session cookies. Our multi-session cookies expire 12 months after your last visit to Our Sites. These cookies delete automatically from your computer as soon as they expire.
You can block cookies from your computer by opting out. Blocking session cookies from your computer will not affect your access to the content and tools on Our Sites. Blocking multi-session or persistent cookies may affect the personalization of the information on Our Sites.
